All sites disturbing over an acre must have a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL). Ecology requires the CESCL to be on-call or on-site at all times, so most companies need more than one employee trained as a CESCL. The CESCL is trained to inspect, install, and manage stormwater controls on your site. Designed for residential builders, this course explains the erosion process and how to apply and comply with the stormwater permit. The course also provides detailed instruction on how to develop a stormwater plan, select and maintain stormwater controls and accurately sample stormwater.
